LEVEL 1 Referees and Table Officials Award

Surrey Basketball Association is running a combined basic Officials Course and it is an ideal course to get a step into basketball officiating.

Minimum age 14 years.

Successful candidates will be qualified to officiate at games of Local League level. Aimed at local league and college players for both club and school games and central venue league games.

There is no written examination for Level 1; the course will be run with a theory session followed by a practical session where candidates will be assessed.

Candidates can take the whole course but could only take either referees or table officials part - but referees will have to stay for whole course as the practical assessment will take place towards the end of the course.

Basketball England will issue certificates to those who pass the course.

             

Cost:               £52.00 – to be paid by Bank Transfer

                        This includes EB Joint Officiating Manual
